Bookings & the dashboard

Every appointment — whether booked on your page, through the AI chat, or added by you — lands in the dashboard.

Today view

The dashboard home shows today at a glance: today's bookings in order, a count, expected revenue, and how many bookings are awaiting your confirmation.

Booking statuses

  • Pending — received, awaiting your confirmation.
  • Confirmed — confirmed and on the calendar.
  • Cancelled — cancelled; the slot is freed for others.
  • Completed — the job is done.
  • No-show — the customer didn't turn up.

You can change a booking's status from the Bookings list or the Calendar.

Pending vs. auto-confirm

In Settings you choose how new bookings behave:

  • Pending — you review and confirm each one. Best if you want a final say.
  • Confirmed — bookings are confirmed instantly. Best for high volume.

No double-bookings

GarageAgent guarantees two bookings can never overlap for the same garage — this is enforced at the database level, so even simultaneous bookings for the same slot can't both succeed. The second one is cleanly rejected.

Booking references

Each booking has a short 8-character reference (e.g. A1B2C3D4). Customers can use it with their phone number to look up their booking status on your page.

Finding a booking

Use the Bookings list with filters (date range, status) to find past or upcoming appointments. The AI assistant can do this conversationally too — "what do I have on Thursday?"
